As you wander through the picturesque landscapes, be captivated by the sight of lush green fields and the ethereal beauty of thousands of luminous yellow almond flowers, a true feast for both the eyes and the soul.

February marks the enchanting almond blossom season, where delicate white and pink flowers adorn the trees, transforming entire fields into a mesmerizing spectacle. We invite you to explore some of the most enchanting routes through Malaga’s stunning locales during this magical time.

One such gem is the Sierra de las Nieves National Park, a destination brimming with authentic white villages and pristine natural spaces. Picture-perfect villages nestled in the Sierra, framed by the 1,919 m Torrecilla peak, offer a delightful backdrop surrounded by extensive almond groves.

As you traverse the border of Sierra de las Nieves, discover the charming village of Guaro, serving as the starting point for a scenic route leading to Tolox. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the almond blossoms and let the allure of Malaga’s countryside fill your senses with wonder.

In the lush Guadalhorce Valley, the orchard of Malaga, soft hills adorned in fresh green and blossoming almond trees create paradisiacal views; in Álora, gaze upon an ancient Moorish fortress perched atop a hill, offering impressive vistas. This route meanders through the villages of Álora, Almogía, Cártama, and Pizarra.

For those craving coastal charm, explore the Axarquia’s white villages on the eastern Costa del Sol, relishing spectacular views near the Natural Park Sierras de Tejeda and Almijara; villages like Moclinejo, Macharaviaya, Algarrobo, Sayalonga, and Arenas await.

Alternatively, venture inland to the mountain villages nestled between 400 m and 800 m above sea level, including Casabermeja, Colmenar, Riogordo, Periana, Alfarnate, and Comares.
