For the second year in a row, the narrow cobblestone streets and whitewashed walls of this iconic Andalusian village were transformed into a scene straight out of a dream. More than 15,000 candles lit up the historic center, casting a soft glow over Calle Málaga, Plaza Libertad, Calle San Sebastián, Plaza de la Constitución, and more. The result? A mesmerizing experience that drew both locals and visitors into the soul of one of Spain’s most beautiful villages.

Each evening, starting at 21:30, the streets of Mijas Pueblo came alive—not only with candlelight but with live music, art, and culture. At the Miguel González Berral Municipal Auditorium, attendees enjoyed a diverse lineup of concerts:

  • 🎸 Friday, July 4: A stunning tribute to Pink Floyd by IM-Pulse, capturing the spirit of progressive rock under the open sky.
  • 🎷 Saturday, July 5: Caribbean vibes took over with the Bernáldez Latin Jazz Orchestra, delivering a rhythmic and romantic journey through ‘Una noche en La Habana’.
  • 🎤 Sunday, July 6: The grand finale brought timeless nostalgia with a vibrant tribute to the Bee Gees.

All performances began at 22:00, offering an unforgettable night of music against a backdrop of flickering candlelight and starlit skies.

Artisan Market & Local Flavor

Adding to the charm of the event was a market of over 40 artisan stalls, giving visitors the opportunity to discover handcrafted treasures, taste local delicacies, and enjoy the diverse creativity of regional makers. From handmade jewelry to unique home décor and traditional foods, the market made each evening a full cultural experience.
