This Week’s Events on the Costa del Sol
“FESTIBEER” CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL
‘Festibeer’ is the first edition of the Alhaurín de la Torre Craft Beer Festival, which will take place on October 14, 15 and 16 in Plaza de España.
It has been conceived as a great event to give locals and visitors the opportunity to taste a wide variety of beers from national and international brands.
In addition, there will be other types of stands with cocktails, drinks and food, and food trucks with Venezuelan, Argentine, Italian or American cuisine, among others.
It will begin on Friday the 14th at seven in the afternoon and will end on Sunday the 16th in the afternoon.
The concerts will be carried out by Sonoproject on Friday; on Saturday at noon DJ Javi Carrera will perform and at night Comando G; and on Sunday it will end with Franc de Luna, known for his participation in the La Voz contest.
28 MALAGA FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL
28th edition of the Malaga French Film Festival will be held from October 14 to 21.
The festival will offer us 12 official previews of films. This year’s edition is committed to new and young talent and will open with the film “L’innocent” by Louis Garrel.
The festival pays tribute to filmmaker Sebastián Lifshitz with an exhibition on his work and the premiere of the documentary “Bambi, une nouvelle femme.”

AUTUMN TRAILS
Málaga’s townhall is organising the autumn trails to cover various sections of the Sierra Norte, Axarquía, Serranía de Ronda and Sierra de las Nieves.
The routes will be held over 4 Sundays (16 and 30 October and 13 and 27 November) and you will have to register in advance to reserve your spot.
These tours are an opportunity to get to know first-hand the valuable historical and scenic heritage of the Costa del Sol.
And if that were not enough, the programme also includes environmental activities such as birding workshops on migratory birds and birds in the Campillos lagoons.
FAIR IN SAN PEDRO DE ALCÁNTARA
From 17 to 23 of October Fair and Festivities of San Pedro Alcántara 2022 will once again fill this fascinating town with bells and fireworks in an event that honours the tradition of more than a century of history.
