NILVA Enoturismo

Located in Manilva, a charming coastal municipality on the Costa del Sol in Málaga, NILVA Enoturismo offers an immersive wine experience amidst breathtaking surroundings. At the heart of their project lies the revival of the old Moscatel vineyards, the traditional grape variety of the region. Through enotourism, they aim to share the beauty of the landscape, vineyards, and the art of winemaking with visitors.

NILVA Enoturismo invites guests to embark on guided tours that encompass the CIVIMA Wine Museum, the NILVA winery, the vineyards, and delightful wine tastings paired with tapas. This enriching experience allows guests to delve into the history, flavors, and culture of the region.

Nestled along the Mediterranean, the vineyards of Manilva are a testament to the unique terroir of the area. Cultivated manually in dry conditions on gentle slopes of white albariza soils that descend to the sea, these centenary vines thrive in the convergence of significant elements:

  • Two continents (Europe and Africa).
  • Two vast bodies of water (Mediterranean and Atlantic) with their constant battle of winds (moist and salty Levante versus dry Poniente).

NILVA winery embraces the concept of “Vinos de Garaje,” producing wines in limited quantities, with an annual output of fewer than 8,000 bottles. While the Moscatel de Alejandría grape has long been associated with renowned sweet wines from Málaga, NILVA represents a departure, offering dry wines that showcase the grape’s versatility and potential.

NILVA is a dry wine with a modern and distinctive character. It is fruity, aromatic, and refreshing, with a subtle touch of salinity from its proximity to the sea.

Embark on the NILVA Wine Experience, which includes a standard guided tour encompassing the CIVIMA Wine Interpretation Center, the NILVA winery, the Peñoncillo vineyard, and a delightful wine tasting accompanied by tapas. With an estimated duration of 2 hours, this captivating journey is offered at a price of 25 euros per person.
