What was your reasons for buying a home on the Costa del Sol?

After several trips, we decided to go for this area, taking into account the climate and location. We also have some friends in the area who we recommended us Costa del Sol.


How long did it take between thoughts and action?
After seeing several friends who bought a property, we were confident to start the process ourselves. Once we established this, the process took about 1 year.


How did you get in touch with SMH? How was the first feeling?

The first good contact was with a Swedish native speaking broker who we found on their website. We immediately got the feeling that they listened to our demands and then acted with interesting properties.


Did you get enough information and service from us before the viewings?

All information before viewings was complete, with info about the properties and its surroundings and history,.


Did you think the viewings matched your expectations?

We were initially most interested in exploring areas, from Mijas to Estepona, and accessible objects in all these areas in between. It was a very good step. Once we decided on an area , we moved on to looking more at the properties.


What was decisive for you choosing to continue with SMH?

What was important to us was a complete solution with a legal representative and a broker service, and both parties spoke Swedish very good. Nothing came as surprises, everything well planned from start to completed business


How did you experience the staff at SMH during the actual buying process?

It was a good support and cooperation with our bank as well. After sales issues were handled in a functional way. Then it is always difficult with the price negotiation, how much you should possibly lower prices and tactics around this. It is not like in Sweden, therefore local staff with good knowledge of this is needed.


How did you experience the service of the legal process before and after the purchase?

This was handled in a good way, we missed the feedback with amounts paid / expenses in a simple document.


What were our strengths as a Real Estate Company?

All services gathered in one company and competencies, a complete solution.


What were our weaknesses?

Actually none, however we would have appreciated a final document with all costs specified from the start of the purchase to the end.
